Previously Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, Arm in Arm provides assistance for those who are homeless or at risk of eviction, foreclosure, or utility shutoff. The organization offers food pantries with fresh, frozen, and non-perishable items to low-income people across Mercer County. Personal care products such as shampoo, soap, and toothpaste are available. Work training programs are provided as well.

Isles Weatherization program provides FREE home energy improvements and conservation education to qualifying low-income households. We help homeowners and renters lower their utility costs and make their homes safer and more comfortable. Qualifying for services is not a guarantee that your home will be eligible for repairs. All repairs must meet program guidelines to be eligible. Examples of common services and measures include:
- Energy Audit
- Installation of insulation, air sealing, weather stripping, and other standard weatherization measures
- Heating system repair or improvements
- Ventilation upgrades
- Refrigerator Evaluation
- Safety improvements
