Who is it offered to?

Ages 8 and older, open to Princeton Residents and Non-Residents.

Saturday, July 22 from 9:00am-10:00am at Princeton High School Track.

Fee: $16.00 per clinic

Clinic Information

Learn about the sport of track and field with the Princeton High School Track and Field coaches! This class is perfect for recreational beginners and is an ideal environment for students with physical challenges, autism, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorder and other individual learning differences. Athletes will rotate through four stations: Sprinting Form, Long Jump, Hurdles, and Relays. Following event instruction, athletes will participate in fun races on the track to close out the morning. Parent/Aid/Therapist/Sibling/ and/or a support person is welcome to join the clinic with the participant.

Program Directors: Coach Harrington and PHS Coaches

Coach Harrington is currently a member of the Princeton High School coaching staff, and is a former assistant coach at Princeton University. Coach Harrington has been heavily involved with the Special Olympics and was named the Assistant Technical Director for the 2022 Special Olympic USA Games in Orlando, FL. 

Other Important Information

  • Please wear sneakers, comfortable clothing such as shorts, t-shirt, and dress according to the weather.
