Winter Running Program

Who is it offered to?

The Winter Running Program offers a Middle School Program (grades 6-8) and a High School Program (grades 9-12). The program is open to Princeton Residents, Cranbury Residents & Non-Residents who attend school in Princeton. Athletes will engage in a detailed program, tailored to age and skill level, and designed to increase fitness levels and joy for the sport of running. 


The program will run Tuesdays THROUGH Fridays, beginning January 12th and ending on January 29th. Practices for the Middle School Program take place at PUMS Fields, drop off and pick up will be at the Walnut Lane entrance. Practices for the High School Program take place at the Princeton High School Track, drop off and pick up will be at the Guyot Avenue entrance. All practices will be from 3:15-4:30pm each day. 

Princeton Residents: $75.00 ; Cranbury & Non-Residents who attend school in Princeton: $125.00.

Important notes

Athletes should come dressed in layers each day. The following items are MANDATORY: face mask, jacket, long pants, hat, and gloves. Athletes will be sent home if they arrive without these items. 

Princeton Recreation Department will determine whether or not it is too cold to practice on any given day. Practice will be cancelled if the temperature is under 30 degrees. There will be no makeup days for cancelled practices, and fees will not be prorated. If weather is in question, we will provide an update by 2pm that day.
