High School Track & Field Clinics

All High School Clinics are open to rising 8th-12th graders (graduated Seniors are welcome!)

Sprint Clinic

Featuring: Reuben Jones, Assistant Coach - Princeton University 

Dates/Times/Location: July 5 and July 6 from 12:00-3:00pm @PHS Track

This will be a specialized, two-day clinic, covering all aspects of the sprint events, from start technique to mid-race mechanics. Space is limited to ensure that all athletes will receive personalized attention and will come away with new techniques and tips for the upcoming season.

Hurdles Clinic

Featuring: Robert Abdullah, Assistant Coach - Princeton University 

Dates/Times/Location: July 8 and July 9 from 12:00-3:00pm @PHS Track

This will be a specialized, two-day clinic, covering all aspects of the hurdles, from stationary drills to mid-race mechanics. Space is limited to ensure that all athletes will receive personalized attention and will come away with new techniques and tips for the upcoming season.

Distance Clinic

Featuring: Bob Hamer, Head Coach - Rider University

Dates/Times/Location: Aug 2 and Aug 3 from 12:00-3:00pm @PHS Track

The distance clinic will focus on the link between training and racing. Specific topics will include, the importance of non-running based training, developing a competitive mindset, building tactical racing plans, individualizing group training, and developing balance as a student athlete.  Guest speakers will bring their unique experiences and provide you access to how they developed their own success within the running world. Clinics will be a mix of learn by doing, round table discussion, presentations and Q&A. Wear workout attire, bring your questions, and a desire to raise your competitive level.

Long Jump Clinic

Reuben Jones, Assistant Coach - Princeton University 

Dates/Times/Location: Aug 5 and Aug 6 from 12:00-3:00pm @PHS Track

Reuben Jones (Princeton University Assistant Coach for the Sprints, Hurdles and Jumps) will conduct a two-day clinic, covering all aspects of the long jump, from runway and in-air mechanics to specific landing drills. Space is limited to ensure that all athletes will receive personalized attention and will come away with new techniques and tips for the upcoming season.

Fees: Princeton Residents- $50 Non-Residents: $75
